(Beware of rant!) If I see another naturopath put a leaf on their logo, or a chiropractor put hands or a spine on theirs, or a nutritionist use an apple, I’m going to go crazy! And if you already have a brand that looks like this, then you’re going to have to work EXTRA hard to stand out. You know your industry is getting more crowded by the day, so it’s time to do something different and get noticed.
This could certainly start with your visual branding, and if you want to know more about that please contact me. But branding is also how your business acts. You can also stand out by offering an unexpected or innovative service, change the structure of your practice to be less traditional, or just have an extra special touch when you deal with your clients. Stop spouting the history of your profession on your website. Stop talking about “the self-healing properties of the body”. And stop using words that no one outside of your profession understands. No one cares. In order to attract clients to your practice and not a different one you really, seriously need to be less boring.
